In the Hunger games Catching fire there are a lot acts of defiance one of them would be when Petta painted Rue’s body.(this can be found on page 240). This is an act of defiance because he painted Rue to remind snow he was responsible for her death. This is one of the many defiance’s in this book.

One defiance that katniss does is when she hung a dummy with Seneca cranes name painted on it she did it to “Snow she isn’t just a peace in his games”. This shows that she is done letting the game makers and Snow control her.

 Another act of defiance is when Peeta lied about having a baby he said “Maybe id Think that too Ceaser says Peeta bitterly If it weren’t for the baby”. This is defiant because he is turning the citizens against Snow.

Another is when the tribute “Up and down the row, the victors begin to join hands”. They were showing they are allies.
