The Outsiders

     Is it rough with Soc’s and Greasers? I agree with Cherry it don’t matter who you are there’s always rough times. “We have troubles you’ve never even heard of.”

 On page 34 of the Outsiders. Says ”things are rough all over” No matter who you are if your rich, poor or bad and good your always going to go through bad times nobody has a perfect life and nobody ever will.

      Ponyboy argues “Socs get all the breaks”. However people have problems/trouble all over. No matter who you are. People just don’t get to take a break from life because more problems will pop up as you go.

      What the book Outsiders is trying to say is that always and forever we will have problems. If you’re a Greasers problems and Soc’s they have problems that you might not know about.

 

Catching fire

In catching fire I’d say defiance is making things worse but also people are standing up to Snow and telling him they don’t want to kill each other for these stupid games.

               Katniss on her private session she hung Seneca Cranes dummy because she’s reminding the game makers of Seneca cranes death. On pg.236 it says” president Snow has probably given them directions to make sure we die”. This is the last time we will ever live so take a chance.

               For Peeta’s private he painted Rues body covered in flowers. He’s reminding the game makers that they’re the ones who killed Rue for these stupid games. Pg.240 “they killed the little girl that’s dreadful”.

               The tributes all got in a line after the interview to unity. This is defiant because they’re showing Snow there not enemies. On Pg.258 “first public unity with other tributes to show Snow there not killing each other”.

               Cinna turns Katniss wedding dress into a mocking jay that Snow approved on having. This is an act of rebellion because Cinna did the dress when she went on national television. Pg.252 “the dress is an act of rebellion and itself”

               The tributes are the most defiant because now that they are holding hands President Snow knows they’re not going to kill each other.

my school year

Over the years, my attitude about school has changed. When I was younger I felt that school was boring because when I was younger I thought school was just a game but now since I'm older I take it way more serious. Back then, my favorite part of the school year was writing because every year I like to improve my hand writing. when it came to school my biggest worry was not being smart enough for the grade I was in because I will learn something and then forget it. Now that I'm in my final year of middle school I feel that I need to focus more on school then the  rest and take the outside because its my last year of middle school and I need to learn and take the information that I have from middle school to high school. Now, my favorite part of school day is learning new things because the more I learn the farther I will go. Now, when it comes to school, my biggest worry is staying with the people who don't start drama because school is way better then getting in fights. When I'm a freshman in high school next year, I'll probably feel good because I'm almost there for being what I want to be in life.
