The nurse walks in and says, “Johnny your mother is here to see you.”

I lay in shock trying to figure out what to say as I spit out the words, “Come in.” I see a lady with dark brown hair walk in with a small smile on her face as if she’s happy to see me or something.

She looks at me and says, “You’re all over the newspaper’s, you’re a hero for saving those kids.”

I try to think of something to say but all I can do is just sit there and just think , how could someone who don’t even care about me come to see me when I’m on the verge of dying.

“How are you feeling?” she says to me.

 “Horrible.” It really put me in shock that she is here in the same room as I am when I can’t even be in the same house as her and the Oldman.

“No matter what I’m still your mother and I still love you no matter what the past is.”

I let those words sink in, “I love you.” Before I’m able say anything I couldn’t sit up or barley breath and the nurse rushed me out.

Greaser’s vs soc’s

 Do you think pony boy has it ruff? The greasers have it worse than socs. Greasers don’t have good grades, money, or good cars. On page 36, of the outsiders, pony boy says “I really couldn’t see what socs would have to worry about – good grades, cars and have money”. The greasers don’t have money or a good schools record or living conditions but the socs do. Cherry argues that “its ruff all over”. However it may be ruff all over but others have It rougher then others. These are the reasons why greasers have it worse.

catching fire

  In catching fire an act of defiance means a daring or bold resistance to authority or an opposing force. An act that challenges power

   Katniss hangs a dummy of Seneca craine for her training session. This is rebellious because she reminded the game makers of what happened last time. “ They read the name on the dummy , Seneca craine” on page 237. This made them shocked

    Peeta paints a picture of rue covered in flowers for his training session. This is rebellious because tributes are not supposed to each other. “ I painted a picture of rue” on page 240. Peeta cared about rue.

     At the end of the interviews all the tributes held hands. This is rebellious because this shows they are sticking together when snow wants them to be enemies. “the victors began to join hands” on page 258. The tributes are helping the uprising.

     Cinna turns the wedding dress that snow picked out into a mocking jay. This is rebellious because the mocking jay is a sign of rebellious. “Cinna has turned me into a mocking jay” on page 252. Katniss loved the dress.

      I think when the tributes held hands was the most rebellious because that showed their not fighting but there sticking together.

over the years of school

  0ver the years, my attitude about school has changed. When I was younger I felt that school was fun and cool because we could play and not learn that much. Back then, my favorite part of the school day was recess and lunch because it was a lot of fun. When it came to school, my biggest worry was being late because I didn't want to miss anything.        

   Now that I'm in my year of middle school I feel tired about school because there is so much work. Now, my favorite part of the school day is lunch and the end of the day because there is no work then. Now, when it comes to school, my biggest worry is missing a test because I will have to do all of it and might miss other work.

  When im a freshmen in high school next year, I'll probably feel nervous about school because it will be a new school and new people
