A nurse appeared in the doorway “Johnny” she said quietly, “your mother’s here to see you.”

Johnny opened his eyes. At first they were wide with surprise, then they darkened. “I …….I…..I……” Johnny had trouble speaking then he finally said “bring her in please……” the nurse walks in with his mother “Johnny” his mother said with tears in her eyes. “why are you here” Johnny asked “I……. I……. was worried about you I love you Johnny.” She said with regret in her voice.

Johnny didn’t talk to her for a while then finally he said “I’m leaving with my friends you say you love me but actions speaks louder then words” he said then his mother was surprised on how he said it so easy. Then his mother responded with “we love you.” “who you and the devil” Johnny yelling.

His mother said “if you want me to leave just say the word” she said so sadly “LEAVE ME ALONE!!!!!” Johnny screamed. His mother ran out of the room crying.

Ponyboy has a more realistic standpoint that the “Socs” has many breaks and lives a better life, because he has lived a more harsh life. He thought this because “Greasers” are usually broke. “Socs” are usually Rich and live a healthier life. But Cherry has a different understanding of equality between “Socs”  and  “Greasers”.

should kids be aloowed to do extreme sports?

Young people should be allowed to be a part of extreme sports. They keep people involved. Also open roads can benefit to extreme sports.

Extreme sports are ways to keep people involved. Jamie Burr states, “It’s the opportunity to escape boredom, overcome fears, and achieve”. We may not have control on the kids,  but we can control extreme sports activities.

Extreme sports can be easy to learn in open roads or with a adult helping you out with the extreme sports. Jamie Burr states, “It’s slow progression that allows us to safely get better and adventure sports are the same”. Extreme sports help the kids learn on overcoming fear.

Vani Saseban argues that extreme sports “Can be very serious and lead to life times disabilities”.  However, extreme sports are safe with the right protection. In conclusion, kids should be allowed to do extreme sports because it can help better themselves.

In the book catching fire there are a lot of acts of defiance towards the capitol. In this book the tributes are mad at President Snow. An example of an act of defiance is that Katniss hangs a dummy with Seneca Crane’s name on it.

On page 242 Katniss hung a dummy with Seneca Crane’s name on it “to show that I’m more then just a piece in their games.” This shows that she is done letting the game makers and snow control her.

On page 240 “Actually, I painted a picture of Rue.” “How she looked after Katniss covered her in flowers.” He did this to show that because of the capitol Rue is dead.

On page 250-251 The tributes question the legality of the games “Make him pay for it okay?” Johanna Mason says. They are going against the capitol.

Cinna made Katniss’s wedding dress that snow picked out into mocking jay. When she started to spin she transformed into a mocking jay. And the mocking jay represent defiant actions.

I think that President Snow would feel that that what Katniss did would be the most defiant. The other acts of defiant are not as defiant because Katniss hung a dummy with Seneca Crane name on it. That is why I think snow would feel that Katniss had the most defiant act.

Over the years, my feelings about have changed and ever since I have great teaching teachers the get the grades I have now and school just happens to be the part of my day and I hope everyone feels the same way and that's how I feel about school
