A nurse appeared in the doorway. “Johnny” she said quietly, “ your mothers here to see you.” I opened my eyes and told the nurse I didn’t want to see her. The nurse kept arguing and telling me that she’s my mother and that I should see her. I told them to that I cant handle the pressure of seeing her but they wasn’t listening to me. I didn’t want to see my mom because it would kill me to see her after everything she did to me when her and my mother didn’t care where I was at in the middle of the night where should they care now? I told the doctor one last time that I didn’t want to see her and then after that I don’t really remember what happened I think I passed out or something.

The Outsiders

Who do you think has a better outlook on the world Cherry or Pony? I think that Pony has a more realistic outlook on the world.

On page 11 it says “ Only Socs. And you can’t win against them”. The Socs are always the ones to win because they jump and have all the fancy thing.

On page 36 it says “ good grades, good cars, good girls”. The Socs don’t have much to worry about they got life easy.

Cherry may argue that the Socs have there own “troubles”. However they got all the money and good jobs.

In conclusion I think that Pony has more realistic outlook in the world.

Would you let your kids do extreme sports? Kids should be able to do extreme sports. Two reasons they should be able to do these are because it will help keep kids active and healthy, as well as help kids face their fears.

Jamie Burr, professor of exercise physiology, PEI, Canada says, “Physical activities has many health benefits”. Kids need to be active because if they’re inside to much they could get obese. Extreme sports could keep kids healthy.

Burr also says, “Risk-free activities give people the opportunity to test themselves”. Kids need to test themselves outside of school with sports like these to help them. Extreme sports could help kids to test themselves physically not mentally.

Nani Subeson, assorate professor at WSU, argue that, ”young brains are more venerable”. However, kids should make their own choices and test themselves.

Kids should be able to do extreme sports. Because it will keep them active and healthy.

In the book catching fire katniss and people have acts of defiance’s. Hangs a dummy with Seneca crane name on it.

One of the ways that Katniss shows she is defiant is “ game makers faces as they read the name on the dummy. SENNECA CRANE.” This is defiant cause he died of her actions.

Peeta painted pic of rue covered in flowers. This shows he’s defiant “for killing that little”. This is defiant cause  of there hunger games a 12 year old girl died.

All the tributes hold hands and reunited as one. This is an act of defiant cause “ something happened on that stage tonight that cant be undone” this is defiant cause there on live T.V in the capitol.

Cinna is defiant cause he makes into a mockingjay. This is defiant cause “don’t worry I always channel my emotions into my work. That way I don’t hurt anyone but myself.” This is defiant cause Cinna made Katniss into a mockinhjay.

I think that when all the tributes held hands was the most defiant cause it was on live T.V and it was a sign of unity .
