In the book,
Catching Fire there has been many rebellion acts against the capitol and
president snow, so here are some act of rebellion that shouldn’t of have
happened. On page 236-237, it says
‘’I drag one of the target dummies out into the middle of the room and using
some chinning bars and hanging it by its neck’ ’She’s reminding them of what
happened last time, she caused Seneca’s crane death and this act of defiance was
done by Katniss.
Another act of defiance was done by Peeta
on page 240, It says ‘’I just wanted to hold them accountable, If only for a
moment for killing that little girl’ ’He is showing the game makers that they
are responsible for her death.
Another was done by the tributes on page
258, It says ‘’And then it happens up and down the row the victors begin to
join hands, In the confusion they didn’t cut us off in time, everyone has seen’
’This shows that the tributes are a team and that they are sticking together.
One last act of defiance I have for
you was done by Cinna. On page 253, Katniss thinks, ‘’what has he done? Something
terribly dangerous. An act of rebellion in its self’’. Katniss is worried because
the mocking jay is an act or symbol of rebellion and Cinna has turned her into
a mocking jay.
I think that president snow found the
tributes holding hands more defiant because that showed that the tributes cared
about each other and that they are team.
