I agree with Pony boy because he says that the socs get all the breaks. The reasons are that pony boy believes that the socs get all the breaks compared to the greasers.

     According to Pony boy on page 11 only socs. “And you can’t win against them no matter how hard you try, because they’ve got all the breaks and whipping them is not going to change that fact”.

    What I think is that the socs have a hard life to but not like the greasers because they are the ones that get bullied by the socs. Reason two is that the socs are the highest in the town and are above the greasers.

     According to Pony boy “even if they did have their own troubles, I really can’t see what socs would have to sweat about –good grades, good cars, good girls .madras and mustangs and corvairs-man, I thought, if I had worries like that I’d consider myself lucky”.

       I mean in my opinion if you have all those nice things you are lucky and have a better life than people who don’t have those things.

     Cherry may argue “we have troubles you’ve never even heard of’’.

    However if the socs have a hard life it might not be harder than the greasers life because the greasers don’t have all those nice thing that the socs have.

    So there you have it why the greasers have a harder life than the socs.
