I think cherry has a more realistic opinion to the real world.  One reason is in the book it says “we have troubles you’ve never even heard of “ socs probably just hide their problems. Also socs have to have good grades and dress nice so they can fit in.  Greasers have it hard to because they don’t have much money so they can’t really support there family’s.
