Acts of defiance

IN second period we are reading the second hunger games book catching fire. WE are identifying acts of defiance in the chapters we are reading which is chapters 16-18

 

 

ON pages 236-237 katniss thinks “to make them realize that while were vulnerable to the capitols cruelties they are as well” katniss was stating that the districts are in danger, but so are they

 

ON page 240 Peeta says that “im not sure I just wanted to hold them accountable” Peeta is saying that he wants peeta is saying that he wants them to take responsibility for rues death.

 

ON page 259 Haymitch says ‘the whole situation is unprecedented” Haymitch is saying that the tributes showing signs that they stand together confuses the capitol and the districts .

 

ON 253 katniss thinks “what has he done” katniss is thinking that Cinna has put himself in danger because 0f the dress he made for katniss.

 

 I belive that out of all the acts of defiance the defiance the tributes holding hands is the most defiant, because they are showing that they are there for eachother.
