In The Book Catching Fire, by Suzanne Collins, We are identifying acts of defiant or rebellion against the capitol. There are many acts of defiance.
For katniss private session she hung a dummy with Seneca cranes name on it, she did this to remind the Game Makers of what happened last time how she won the games. On page 237 it says "I step away quickly to watch the reaction on the Game Makers faces." They were shocked about her hanging the dummy.
For Peeta private session he painted a picture of Rues body covered in flowers. He did this to show the Game Makers that they are responsible for her death. On page 240 Peeta says "I just wanted to hold them accountable." Peeta did this to show them that her death is there fault.
At the end of the interviews all the tributes held hands in unity. This shows President Snow that they are sticking together, even if he wants them to be enemies. On page 258, it says "all twenty-four of us stand in one unbroken line in what must be the first public show of unity among the districts since the dark days."
Cinna turned Katniss's wedding dress that Snow approved into a Mocking jay, the Mocking jay is a symbol of the rebellion. On page 253,Katniss thinks "What has he done? Something terribly dangerous. An act of rebellion in itself. Katniss is worried because he is promoting the rebellion on national television.
I think that President Snow finds The tributes the most defiant, because at the end of there interviews they hold hands in unity, he doesn't want them to care about each other.
