In the book, catching fire Cinna's act of defiance is that " Cinna has turned me into a mockingjay". This is there act of rebellions that they start before the games. Katniss let Cinna turn her into a mockingjay, In the book the mockingjays is a act of definence and because of it suppably they where suppost to wipe them out but they still live. The district winners are trying to let them live. since this is a act of defince they know and the capital is mad. Peeta trys to save them by telling them they got married so they hold on for them longer. Peeta is trying to make the viewers want them to survive and not die after being happy. They are trying to live to survive by lieing to the people and now the games start and more people are mad and there may me a rebellion.
