Catching Fire

  In the book Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins, We are reading about districts rebellion against the capital and about how the tributes are getting tired of being controlled by snow. Here are some acts of defiance by tributes.

 In Katniss private session she hung a dummy with Senecs Crana’s name on it. Katniss’s message is to reminds the Gamemarkers that she out smarted them, she could be threating them because she thinks she cause his death. On page 238, Katniss did it because the text says “To show them that I’m not a piece in there game” I can infer that Katniss is done being scared.

In Peetas private session he painted Rues body covered her in flowers from the 1^st games. Peeta is reminding the gamemarkers that they are responsible for Rues death, he’s showing respect for another tributes. On page 240, Peeta expilns “I just wanted to hold them accountable, if only for a moment “For killing that little girl.” His actions would be considered defiant because there not to be respectful to other tributes.

At the end of the interview all of the tributes held hands in unity. On page 258 it says “All twenty-four of us stand I one unbroken line in what must be the first public show of unity among the districts.” Their actions effected the capital and snow because they are saying if they go down they go down together.

Cinna turned the wedding dress that sow demanded she wore, into a Mackingjay. Made her dress back fire on president snow because it turned into a symbol of rebellion. On page 253 katnisss remembers him saying “Don’t worry. I always channel my emotions into my work. That way I didn’t hurt anyone but myself.” I can infer that katniss knows president snow will not ignore this.

My conclusion, I think Katniss because president snow is already out to killer her. She is also doing things she shouldn’t be doing
