Catching Fire

     In the book Catching Fire , there is a lot of defiance bye the characters / tributs .Here are some of the acts of defiance to the capital.

     In Katniss`s private session, she hung a dummy with Seneca cranos name on it. She did this because her message was to remind them that she out smarted the capital . On page 238,  “The effect on the Gamemakers face is immediate and satisfying.”

     In peeta’s interview he tells everyone that Katniss and him did get married and that sge is pregnant. He said this so they capital citizens so they would be out raged and try to cancel or change the games. Page 256, “I`m not glad, maybe id think to Caesar, if it wasn’t  for the baby.

      At the end of the ibterviwes with the tributs, they all had came together and held hands in unity. Snow wants all the tributs to be enemies  for the games to be good.page 257-258, “And then it happens up and down the rows the victors john hands.”

     Cinna had turned katniss’s wedding dress that snow demanded Katniss  wore  into a Mocking Jay . makes her dress back fire on snow of the rebellion. Page 253 ” What has he done? Something terribly dangerous. An act of defiance in itself.”

     I think that when cinna turned katniss’s wedding dress into a Mocking Jay is the most defiant because the districts will see it as a sign of rebellion and start to rebel against the capital.
