hunger games catching fire

In are class we are reading Catching Fire and we are talking about defiance.

Defiance is a daring or bold resistance to authority or on opposing force; an act that challenges power.

Here some examples of defiance.

In katniss private session she hung a dummy with Seneca crane’s name on it.The she

“step away quickly to watch the reaction on the gamemakers faces as they read the name on the  dummy”. She could be threatering them.

In peeta private session he painted a picture of rue’s body covered in flowers.

“I think of how ruffled the gamemakers were when I entered the gym for my session.

Showing respect for another tribute.

The tributes hold hands. “up and down the row,  victors begin to join hand”.

President snow does not what the tributes to get along and what them to be enemies.

Katniss thinks, “what has he done something terribly dangerous.

An act of defiance in itself”. She knows that snow will not ignore what cinna did.

I think president snow would find to be the most defiant is all of the tributes.

President snow don’t what the districts to get along and what them to be enemies.

Snow what the tributes to be enemies or the hunger games won’t be a good game.
